There were some problems with the 'licheck' script distributed with Circle 3.0 patch 8 (argh.. sorry for causing problems with a stupid program that no one wants to even see in the first place.) It worked on my system but apparently didn't work on a lot of other people's systems :). Anyway, it has been fixed now and updated tar files have been put on both ftp sites (cambot.res.jhu.edu and ftp.cs.jhu.edu), so if you had problems with the first pl8, please re-ftp it. It should work now. Sorry again for the problems. Jeremy
