I've been toying with the idea of a nicer interface lately, as many of us have. Ideally, I'd like something that wasn't line-buffered, so you could send and receive individual characters. I'm not sure how feasible this is, though. read() and write() seem to read entire lines only, and telnet does the same. Does anybody know if there's an equivalent of noncanonical input mode for telnet connections? _/\_ A stosb a night keeps the inner loops tight. / L \ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= \_ C_/ Assertiveness is strength.
