Ok you've got a file that looks something like these patch.pl8-9 and patch.pl9-10 (may not be exact) and you've got your basic circlemud directory that looks like this: circle-30bpl8 or something similar to that. what you need to do is this: 1. unzip the patch and/or tar if need be 2. move the patch right next to the circledirectory so when you type ls you'll see this: circle-30bpl8/ patch.pl8-9 3. type patch < patch.pl8-9 (or whatever the patchname is). 4. that should do it if not write again. To everyone else if I've left something out feel free to correct me. GOOD LUCK !!!! :-) On Wed, 27 Mar 1996, Pedro Saputo wrote: > Hi everybody! > > Nice to talk you again with another problem! > > can you tell me if i have the code base ot level 8 i need to patch level 9 and 10 or just 10 will be enought? > > ok can a person with a lot of patience explain me exactly the to patch? > > Great Thanks! > > Vicenc Ila Juarez > Implementor of DifferentMud > E-mail se04417@castor.url.es > >
