IE: To create a +5 two handed sword you might have to go out and find 3 units of iron ore, 2 units of silver, 1 unit of gold and take them to the weaponsmith and have him 'assemble' it. (Forge would be more appropriate in this case) This would also work for potions etc. Take a few key ingredients to someone and he gives you something back in return for items x,y,z.
