make_prompt() and a few other functions in comm.c use write_to_descriptor directly rather than a SEND_TO_Q() or write_to_output()? I could understand how this would be useful in new_descriptor(), but why should the rest of the functions avoid the "hoopla" of process_output? Steve quickey@cyberverse.com
