Hi all, I have come across a rather annoying problem that I can't figure out why it's happening. I'm not sure it's even mud related, so I apologize in advance for those that are easily irritated. I have a function in act.comm.c that has a number of local variables declared. One of these variables is an int. When stepping through the debugger into the function, I get to where the variable is to be used and attempt to print the value. I receive: No symbol "<variable name>" in current context. What!? I attempted to move the location of the int, create new ints, etc. All receive the same treatment. I have also attempted to strip any possible 'hidden' characters that may be included (using col -b). No luck. Why would an int in act.comm.c not be recognized? Augh. Any help would be much appreciated lest I lose myself to the code demons.
