hehe... UCI.. used to attend UCI. AFK can be found at mud.inc.net 9000. Basically in act.other.c or somewhere, you need to toggle afk on and off. You could add a PRF_AFK flag or something. I have it so that when afk is on, the prompt is AFK>, and whenever people "tell" to you, they basically get a message that the victim is AFK. Try back later.
