Just check your headers. next time I am sorry, you are so wrong here that it seems as if you're trying to convince someone. e-mail is very easy to trace indeed, as long as you have cooperation from all the different links involved, a little of common sense, some parallel thinking and knowing how to use WHOIS, it is very easy, no matter what your hacker friends tell you or what you may read in UNIX Hacker's cookbooks. BTW, using Netscape 3 or MS Mail & News just makes things easier. Sometimes it just may be more effective to complain directly with the people responsible of the mail account than to the faker itself. BTW, there is a mailing list, called SPAM-L, that can help you guys learn something about stopping SPAM, Bulk unsolicited email and mail fakes-forgery. Let me know if you want any info, I'll forward you how to subscribe (or to the list, if too many people want it).
