We all know the newbies need to learn to work, and the experts would be nice if they'd help teach, but flaming will not remove the beliefs of these groups. I've always understood this list to enable Circle Coders and Admin to swap ideas and receive help on a well thought out problem if the need arises. But lately I've seen far to many puny squabbles that are of no use to anybody. Who cares if somebody is begging for code? If you do not want to release it, more power to you. You should also not be condemned for refusing to release code that you've worked hard to implement. If we all just come stay to a reasonable standard of desires within the list, maybe we can actually have a list that is worth reading through. As of now, nothing is getting done. I'm done, if you choose to flame, send it to me, not the list. _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/ _/ _/_/ _/_//_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/__/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/ _/_ +-----------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://cspo.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list_faq.html | +-----------------------------------------------------------+
