Listen all, the way a patch works is it looks for text in the file, and either addes, changes or deletes lines. If the patch doesn't find this line, or finds ANYTHING different at that line, it will fail, which means you'll have to patch it manually, which is REALLY not that hard, it's just a pain. Anyway, if it fails, this is almost DEFINATELY the problem.
