Does anyone actually care what day of the week it is in their log messages?
Want to save 4 bytes per log message?
I'll be posting a very simple patch on my web page by the time you read
this that does just that.
Aug 20 13:57:40 :: Boot db -- DONE.
Aug 20 13:57:40 :: Signal trapping.
Aug 20 13:57:40 :: Entering game loop.
Aug 20 13:57:40 :: No connections. Going to sleep.
(Note the missing "Wed ")
Will also reduce word wrap due to long messages, making the logs more
readable. (Try wading through my buffer system in verbose mode.) :)
