If the [AD] is from someone that has consistently shown that they are working on new ideas, serious code, then I'll stop by, look around, offer a suggestion or three and then go on about my way before I get conned into coding/building for them. :) The people that post about not being able to compile even though they didn't run 'configure', but now they got it compiled and here's the address!!! Well... Those people I tend to leave them be until they figure out that there are hundreds of ZipMUDs (tm) out there. What is a ZipMUD? Well... It's where someone unzips/tars the MUD, compiles it, and proclaims that it's ready for public consumption even though they haven't changed one spit of the text, world or code. I avoid ZipMUDs like the plague. :) John Evans <evansj@hi-line.net> May the source be with you. +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
