What does the note system do that the Circle boards don't? The reason that I ask is that I spent a month creating a fully threaded BBS style board system. And everyone _really_ hated it. So I'm back at the drawing board trying to design a system that is more than just a board, but less than a BBS style threaded message system. Thoughts? Opinions? Flames? :-) As an aside, does anyone on the list remember the old Auntie BBS system? I fondly remember the days of running "Cabin Fever" -- Doors were the precursor to muds in a lot of ways :-) Don't suppose anyone would want QWK exports for mudmail *grin* --Mallory P.S. Implementing a threaded board system was a fun challenge. Too bad it didn't fit in with the mentality of my players/admins ;-) Neither sweat, nor blood, nor frustration, nor lousy manuals nor missing parts, nor wrong parts shall keep me from my task. --Christopher Hicks +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
