Oedit EDesc crashing

I'm using an older version of olc, 1.5 and was wondering if it's normal
for oedit to crash with saving to disk edesc's...What it seems to do, is
write the whole x.obj file, but then the edesc->next points to garbage
on the currently edited item.

Is this a common problem already fixed somewhere?
