Unix: See other messages in this thread Windows: Get winzip (www.winzip.com (evaluation works fine)) and install. Then, all .tar.gz files will be regestered to Winzip and thus can be easily expanded. The only downside to winzip is the fact that it cannot MAKE .tar.gz files so all us unix people can use it.
