There isn't a code snippet which does *exactly* what you want, but one similar can be found on the hallowed circlemud ftp site. It also includes code for crossbows, bows, and throwing weapons. It shouldn't be that hard to change, you just have to check the exits from the room where the grenade explodes (look at the do_scan snippet) and just damage anyone who happens to be in those rooms.
