*sigh* Well, I found OasisOLC, it turns out I had been tooling with the upgrade. Don't I feel intelligent. Anyhow, patch is puking when I try to apply it, so I looks like I'm going to be this manually (on stock bpl12). Damn. Oh well, what can I say.

I was wondering how people have accomplished writing commands to edit the imotd and such, any feedback would be appreciated. I imagine it would require changing CON_ states, which seems to be icy business, when go in and out of CON_PLAYING.
