If the game tries to load an obj into non-existant room or onto a missing
mob, it gives and error message and extracts the obj.
The same goes if a mob is "loaded" into a non-existant room. So far it's
done nothing to my system other than to clean up the "where" listings and
(I assume) free up some mem usage.
