On a somewhat related note, there are problems with the generic_find function. It would seem that if you try and stat an object, and there is one in the room, one in your inventory, and one worn, you can't stat the one in your inventory. It would also seem that looking into an object in the locations also does it. I believe it has to do with the fact that if you do a look 2.object with a generic_find, it keeps the number from search area to search area. So if it can't find 2.object in your inventory, it looks for 2.object in the room. Now, if you have object in your inv and in the room, it won't realize that it found one already.
