I have a problem with my linux system that has recently popped up whenever i use autorun with my mud. The system works fine up until i type autorun & at which point my system becomes relatively inoperable in that commands become non executable. I usually get one of two error messages, the first of which is the most common, the other i have only gotten once. Here are the messages, i would appreciate any help that you could give me on trying to figure out what is causing this problem and how to fix it telnet: can't map '/lib/libc.so.5' telnet: can't map '/lib/libc.so.5' telnet: can't load library 'libc.so.5' telnet: can't map '/lib/libncurses.so.3.0' telnet: can't map '/lib/libncurses.so.3.0' telnet: can't load library 'libncurses.so.3.0' Kiera |\ /| --<>---<>---<>---<>---<>---<>-- | \/ | |\ /| The Moon illuminates the Earth | \/ | With wondrous slivery rays; | /\ | Illuminate me through the night |/\ \| And through the sun-lit days | |\ | | --<>---<>---<>---<>---<>---<>-- email: kiera@freenet.edmonton.ab.ca +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
