As you can tell, gdb is giving me some strange output that I've never
seen. If it at least told me the code that was faulty, I would be happy,
but it's not.

What happens:
load mob
switch mob
return
kill mob (slay's brutally, etc., etc. Instant kill)

The next time the mob_pulse hits, I get this funky crash and a
pointless(?) gdb output.

Anyone have a clue? I don't.
