I'd recommend a FAQ entry which would take care of most of the OLC ones: Q: Why does my OasisOLC v1.5 or greater crash when creating a new mob? A: Until proven wrong, the problem is not with OasisOLC. You have a memory overrun somewhere in your code. Check for sprintf or strcpy statements, especially those in a loop. Note that a few of the problems in the past were actually in stock CircleMUD although all known problems have been fixed. Those problems were with referring to array index -1. If you do not have OasisOLC v1.3, upgrade. -- George Greer - Me@Null.net | Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity http://www.van.ml.org/~greerga | is not thus handicapped. -- Elbert Hubbard +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
