OH! you want to just add a class to the mob. stick and extra int into the mob file. you should be able to figure out how to check sscanf for either 4 or 5 passed in parameters and code around that little hiccup. then save all the mob files using olc and remove your check. ESPECS are things like barehandattack: and strenth: search for these or just espec in db.c. memorize db.c RTFC (in a nice way) --Angus ______________________________ Forward Header __________________________________ Subject: Re: OLC, MOBs, and classes Author: INTERNET:CIRCLE@POST.QUEENSU.CA at CSERVE Date: 4/8/98 4:31 PM That would be very helpful if you had the time. The whole point of going through this is the reason you gave... I want MOBs to cast spells and use skills of their class during combat (or even through DG scripts/triggers later on). Also, since I'm a little new at this, I don't know what an e-spec for class is... I guess I'll do a little back reading in the archives to try to figure that one out.
