DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! We have a winner (I hope). Trying to debug without being in debug mode? strange.... God save us from menu based systems that lets us only easily do what the designers used their cracked crystal balls to decipher what we THINK we want to do. Sigh. half the time i am not sure what i want to do till i do it. --Angus ______________________________ Forward Header __________________________________ Subject: Re: [CODE] [NEWBIE] do_look crashing MUD! :-( Author: INTERNET:CIRCLE@POST.QUEENSU.CA at CSERVE Date: 5/2/98 8:12 PM Unfortunately MSVC++ isn't in a command prompt form...the build stuff is in a dropdown menu. It doesn't ask whether or not to add debug info. What it does have is two options: Win32 Release, Win32 Debug. What if I chose the latter instead of the former? -JW +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
