I currently have wear & tear implemented only for combat situations so anything worn can possibly be struck and damaged in battle. Wearing a backpack can cause it to be destroyed along with everything in it if the attack is acidic,fire based or electrical based. If you really want backpakcs to break,make them lower in hit points every time someone puts something inside of them.
