The variable-parser routine posted to this list quite a while ago
(and probably on the circlemud ftp site) could more easily be adapted
to take seasons into account, and provide much more dynamics to
descriptions based on time of day or the viewer. (For example, using
this package, descriptions can be tailored to the class of the viewer;
the intelligence, or just plain random.)
