Multiplaying code

No matter what code you right, some bright spark will manage it. In
fact, if you have code that tries to prevent it, you are placing a
challenge to anyone that wants to try.

Immortals and mortals can often tell when someone is multiplaying,
and can investigate and politely ask the player to stop.

Also, if you place a strong but polite notice stating that if a
player is caught multiplaying, the better character is wiped, few
people will actually take the risk.

In my experience, immortals usually kick around the mud getting
bored. Hunting bugs and typos gets boring and tedious, and keeping
an eye out for multiplayers keeps them busy.
