[NEWBIE] DG Scripts,

First what dg script do? I herd they were event traps but for what?
And I read some docs that said something about circlemud pl14 and dg
scripts. I was woundering if that ment that dg scripts were part of pl14
or some I'm not sure. Any resonse would be helful.
