They're called zones.
And it's trivial to make 'vnum obj 1-30' work. Of course, my implementation
was so trivial that the end points had to exist before it could work, but
that's something that could have been fixed. (Or at least, I think I made
the 'vnum' command to that, it's been soo long now...)
