Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew any good resources to learn GDB and MS VC++(6.0) profiling. While programming for years, most of my debugging experience has been in the (insert test print) what happens and logic approaches. I am trying to learn how to use tools to do it better. I do my initial work on MS VC++ 6.0 under win 98 (I like the development environment) then port the code over to Debian Linux and gcc. Usually there are no problems, but occassionally I observe different behaviour on the diff platforms. If anyone can point me to soem resources, I would greatly appreciate it. thanks, Dave +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://qsilver.queensu.ca/~fletchra/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
