I would have to say that a web presence can be a very useful tool for any mud. I work on a relatively new mud, which is still in developemental stages, but we have a website with descriptions of all the classes, races, and theme history listed.Being that we are still under construction,I took advantage of the website to advertise for builders.I built a simple CGI based builder application that is e-mailed to me when it is completed. This way we have a way to consider builders without having them create a player character on the mud until we gather a little information on them. There are many free places to put up a website (we use tripod, which seems to lend itself well to this kind of site). It's not something you have to spend a lot of time on,and can be very useful to players, admin, and any prospective players and staff members. -----Original Message----- From: Circle Discussion List [mailto:CIRCLE@post.queensu.ca]On Behalf Of Jon Knapp Sent: Saturday, February 19, 2000 6:16 PM To: CIRCLE@post.queensu.ca Subject: [CIRCLE] [ADMIN QUESTION] Hi all, Do you admins out there feel a web page is essential to a muds growth and development? What kinds of things do you put on your pages?
