[CODE] Regexp/email check

Hello,

I have put in Mercury Mail and now I am trying to properly check the email
address of the user.  Is there any way I can run a regexp match of the
email address in C, and or preferably also check to see if the host of the
email address really exists?

If there is no built in regexp checking, what do I need to be able to make
a regexp check in Circle?
