Have you tried the soundex snippet at http://www.kavir.org/ out yet? It is a standalone program that can easily be adapted to work with a MUD. Kavir has written his own server for a 16k competition and has since then been developing it. I checked out his server yesterday and found that he had integrated his soundex program with the help files. Take a look around his site and download the server, browse through it. Perhaps you can figure out how to make it work for CircleMUD and then release the changes in a snippet for the rest of us :-) -FIRE -- +---------------------------------------------------------------+ | FAQ: http://qsilver.queensu.ca/~fletchra/Circle/list-faq.html | | Archives: http://post.queensu.ca/listserv/wwwarch/circle.html | +---------------------------------------------------------------+
