Nothing major will change before the 3.1 release, which shouldn't take much longer. We actually have documentation now which was the major hurdle in the past. Later versions I would like to use pointers to rooms instead of real numbers but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll just be a big linked list. It could be thrown into a tree, hash, heap, or some other appropriate data structure. Maybe we'll keep it generic enough to use SQL-backed worlds. Not a lot of point debating it further at the moment since none of it is going to happen right now. -- George Greer greerga@circlemud.org -- +---------------------------------------------------------------+ | FAQ: http://qsilver.queensu.ca/~fletchra/Circle/list-faq.html | | Archives: http://post.queensu.ca/listserv/wwwarch/circle.html | | Newbie List: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/circle-newbies/ | +---------------------------------------------------------------+
