If you want to > save on spam to the circle mud mailing list, feel free to email me > directly at JasonYarber@hotmail.com If you are th only person logged in and you were not doing anything, then that leaves mobs as the cause (assuming its something INSIDE the mud causing the crashes). For reference, I've caused my mud to crash by allowing mobs to attack other mobs. First crash, the mud died becuase FAR to many fights started all at once shortly after the mud was started, so we limited mobs to not attacking their own kind. Second crash, we forgot to say "and don't attack yourself" (mud doesn't like trying to award exp to a dead mob ;). Since you don't mention what kind of changes you had made prior to the crashes starting, all I can really suggest is you look into any recent changes you ahve made to the mud code to see if anything ... odd is now allowed (such as a mob killing itself ;). There are other things you can do, but I'm not a real programmer, so I'll leave those answeres to people more qualified. =) Larry Larry Robinson krenshala@koboldi.net krenshala@jump.net :wq -- +---------------------------------------------------------------+ | FAQ: http://qsilver.queensu.ca/~fletchra/Circle/list-faq.html | | Archives: http://post.queensu.ca/listserv/wwwarch/circle.html | | Newbie List: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/circle-newbies/ | +---------------------------------------------------------------+
