Ok, I have had this problem since I just patched OasisOLC into Circle30bpl17. It was crashing (shops) and no core. So I traced, using gdb, the executable's pid and found and fixed the error. What was getting me upset (and still is) is that all crashes I receive do NOT generate core's in any directory for the mud. I will try the extra fixins that you suggest and attempt those. BTW, is that MALLOC_CHECK_ or just MALLOC_CHECK?
