But after reading what has been going on with Oasis, I now am under the understanding that there is a good reason why there is no Zedit sanity checking, or any other sanity checks (just about). In the documentation for Oasis, it states that this is to allow builders to experiment with just about anything they can put there minds to. Which also means that builders can crash the muds easily. Hmmm...I believe that Oasis should allow builders to test everything they want, to an extent....not allowing the builders to crash the mud is a priority now that I think I should take to fix. If Oasis can cause a crash, it has a bug....Therefore, upper/lower limits will be applied to specific items. Text exceeding a specific length will be truncated...yodda yodda yodda... Also, I need to set up CVS on my machine :P So I can work with OasisOLC a bit better....in the making is (hopefully) an OasisOLC website. It will be set up with the current progress of Oasis....(once again, hopefully). We shall see...like always, bug reports goto oasis_bugs@kip.bz.
