[BUG?] bug in process_input?

Hello everybody.
I think there is a bug in process_input function. I have a mud client that
supports speedwalking (for example if you write dddd (or 4d) it'll send it
to mud like d NL* d NL d NL d NL) so.. The circle process just the first of
d's not all of them.
