[NEWBIE] Object Wearing/ Object Inventory

I've been looking in the code for a while now, and how do I tell if
someone is wearing an object or has it in hsi inventory.  I'm looking to
do an if statement of a particular object so I would need to know by vnums

Any help would be appreciated.
