Some parts of the char_data struct are saved when the playerfile is saved, some aren't. Make sure whatever variable you use to keep track of the load_room is getting saved to disk, and if it isn't, proceed *very* cautiously about changing this. There's warnings all over structs.h about it, and if you succeed, you'll need to convert your playerfiles. Alternately, you can just keep a separate data file with the names and load rooms of characters.
