I don't know about everybody else, but when I'm mudding, I scan more for color coding and numbers in the text coming from the MUD than for actual content. Having the number of the item in parentheses makes more sense (for me) than writing out the word for the number. I also hate places that color "You hit him" messages red and "He blocks your hit" messages green. For me, it's counterintuitive. _/\_ GU -d H s : g? p5 au- a17 w v- C UL P L 3- E---- N K- W--- M-- V-- po / L \ Y t 5 j-- R G---- tv-- b D B--- e u*(**) h! f !r !n !y+ \_ C_/ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= \/ My life as an instruction: xchg al,al Greener's Law: Never argue with a man who buys ink by the barrel.
