Hello, I am wanting to know if anyone here has used or seen a pentium pro running Linux? Will a regular copy of Slakware 3.0 or RH run with no probs? Or is there a version made specifically for the Pent Pro? The only machine I can use for my mud is a dual-pent pro system, (actually pretty nice, 128meg RAM, runs circles around the sparc 20's) but it is only running NT at the moment. (I wanted to stay connected to the T-3 on campus, so I am limited to grad machines) Any pros/cons would be appreciated. Also, does anyone know a good price for Solaris optimized for the pent pro and where?
