K, here's the speil... I just moved my mud to a new site, a Linux machine, version 1.2.13 (or so it says whenever I log in :P). Problem is that when I try to compile I get the following list of errors. Everyone I've talked to says it looks like the libs aren't there or the compiler's not set up right. Additional info, I _did_ run configure, I don't have direct machine access to the linex machine, and this is not my first time compiling the mud. (furthermore I did run configure on this machine specifically) Errors: *--* 07-10-97 - 18:10:45 *--* dwc:~/circle30bpl11/src> make all make ../bin/circle make[1]: Entering directory `/home/drako/circle30bpl11/src' gcc -c -g -O -Wall -fno-strict-prototypes comm.c In file included from /usr/include/endian.h:34, from /usr/include/ctype.h:43, from sysdep.h:38, from comm.c:14: /usr/include/bytesex.h:6: linux/version.h: No such file or directory In file included from /usr/include/stdlib.h:42, from sysdep.h:41, from comm.c:14: /usr/include/errno.h:27: linux/errno.h: No such file or directory In file included from comm.c:21: /usr/include/sys/socket.h:5: linux/socket.h: No such file or directory In file included from /usr/include/sys/resource.h:9, from comm.c:22: /usr/include/sys/time.h:5: linux/types.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/sys/time.h:6: linux/time.h: No such file or directory In file included from /usr/include/sys/time.h:33, from /usr/include/sys/resource.h:9, from comm.c:22: /usr/include/sys/types.h:4: linux/types.h: No such file or directory In file included from /usr/include/limits.h:30, from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/2.7.0/include/limits.h:112, from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/2.7.0/include/syslimits.h:7, from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/2.7.0/include/limits.h:11, from /usr/include/sys/resource.h:10, from comm.c:22: /usr/include/posix1_lim.h:72: linux/limits.h: No such file or directory In file included from comm.c:22: /usr/include/sys/resource.h:11: linux/resource.h: No such file or directory In file included from comm.c:23: /usr/include/netinet/in.h:78: linux/in.h: No such file or directory In file included from comm.c:25: /usr/include/signal.h:28: linux/signal.h: No such file or directory make[1]: *** [comm.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/drako/circle30bpl11/src' make: *** [all] Error 2 dwc:~/circle30bpl11/src> Chris Sanders <\________________/> | simkin@linex.com | "Insert remarkably witty text here." </~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\> +-----------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://cspo.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +-----------------------------------------------------------+
