This is some very simple things that I have done to make exits a little more readable. It's for newbies, so any coders can just delete this here. It changes the stock method of not being able to see doors unless you try to walk in their direction to seeing them in the exits accompanied by a *. For example, [Exits: n s e *w d *u] would mean exits in all directions with up and west being closed doors. It also adds this when players type exits. As oposed to: Obvious exits: None When a closed door is in the room, it reads: Obvious exits: South - A closed door. If anyone wants this, it's VERY simple and takes no coding no-how, just cut and paste. Mail me at creed@i-55.com asking for it. Hope this can help. |-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-| |Chuck Reed - Ash of Dark Horizon | |telnet://pentrel.com:6001 | |http://www.i-55.com/~twingo/horizon | |http://www.geocities.com/Eureka/Plaza/9298/ | |creed@i-55.com -=- dragos_elec@geocities.com | |"If you don't stand for something, you are bound | | to fall for anything." | |-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-| +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
