Ok, this is a simple question. =) I've heard you all talk for a while now
about the WinNT/Win95 circle thing, and lately y'all have been talking
about the Gnu32 side of it. My roommate just added a 270M Win95 drive for
playing around with, so I figured I'd try Circle out on it rather than on
the NT Server drive. Now as Ive been skimming those messages, I've got a
couple of questions to those who fall into that realm. Anyone else, just
click on the delete button and don't trouble yourselves to respond. *g*
Ok, couple of straight-up questions.
1.) Where is the best place to d/l the Gnu32 system and what exactly do I
need?
2.) Does the Gnu32 basically allow for compiling and running circle as if I
were running say, Linux/Solaris?
3.) Any exceptional items to note when doing this, like certain things I
will have to modify to make it run, or things like the Gnu32 patch doesnt
work as well as another utility out there?
If you want to flame, just /dev/null it. And for those who respond, thanks.
ObGuild:
Interface is as done as I'm going to take it. The join_to_guild_offline and
remove_from_guild_offline don't work but I have a feeling a.) most people
wouldnt really use them and b.) you'd probably want to modify them yourself
anyways for ASCII pfiles or no. If anyone _does_ decide to fix them for
ASCII pfiles, I would be interested in the fix. =) All I have left now is
switching the OLC to the add_guild function and then going and making
patchland =) Sooon, very sooon, it'll go to George for review.
