Remember to re-run configure after you upgrade the libc. hmm, i was having a lot of trouble with prototypes.. no matter what i did, it would still crap out when it found previously defined ones.. i finally just removed the circle definitions.. I'm using bpl11, btw, which isn't quite so thorough in configure's prototype checking, i guess.. it also broke crypt(3) in the ROM and LP muds running on my server.. well, not 'broke' really, it just required some minor makefile adjustments..
