A builder of mine recently asked if there was a way I could program in an "<" and ">" characters into the main menus of redit, oedit, and medit. These characters in the main menu would allow you to go up and down the vnum list, 1 vnum at a time, without having to leave the editor, and having the ability to easily switch back and forth between vnums to do comparisons. Let's say you type in oedit 1001. Now, in the main menu, if you hit ">" it would go to vnum 1002. If 1002 didn't exist, it would ask you if you wished to add that vnum. If not, it would drop you back to vnum 1001. Same thing going down vnums using "<". I'm not skilled enough yet to add this on my own, so I thought I'd ask for help. Can anyone help, or point me someplace I can find more information? Thanks for any help! - Brian +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
