Ob Circle MK II: That morphing thing, where you said that if a char get's a death blow they would have a chance of remembering the mob? Where would mob vnum's or whatever be stored...or is the vnum of the mob even kept on it? I don't know...I haven't checked. If it isn't, I'm assuming you're going to have to make storage buffers in the pfile for the stats of the mob, would that be ugly? I don't know. The reason I ask is, I'm going toodo something vaguely similiar, but that will relate to PC's. In my MUD, as in real life, names will have no real meaning(*can just picture himself saying the same thing about the future, on TV...for Ricki Lake*), instead you will /identify/ a person with a name. That person's visible characteristics will then be stored in an array, along with that person's /identify/'d name. There will be standard /identif...oh screw it...identifications...oh...screw that to, I'm just wondering if it will be ugly(ie:long and laborious). Oh well...I'm just going for a more...realistic MUD. PS: If you want a copy of my plans, you can fly down(or up or left or right, or whichever way works for you...but probably left) to Oregon, and I'll photocopy my MUD notes from my MUD notebook for ya. ___________ \ / \ / Double X, the porno king. \/ \/ Just kidding!
