Easy fix for this one. in the obj_to_store code() i think? (where ever it decides that this particular obj should be saved) stick in a check for this -1 and skip all such items. Just leave them out. Even in the autosave. --Angus ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Rent code Author: INTERNET:CIRCLE@POST.QUEENSU.CA at CSERVE Date: 6/3/98 9:18 AM Well, actually the title of this mail should have been crashsvave code ... was it my immagination or the crashsave func of circleMUD 3.0 doesn't' do any check to see if objects caried by (or equipped) are rentable ? Players on my mud during crashes get their unretntable objs in their rent file and qwhen they come back the mud crashes again, since it reads -1 objs in the rent file.. +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
