Hey The hard way to get this working would be by bypassing the boot of the trigger-files on the first start after having implemented the dg-scripts in db.c, two or three instances. That was what I did anyway. Thereafter I edited a script saved it, uncommented the dg-scripts bootup, recompiled and started the mud for real. Now if you don't want to go through all that nonesense just to get dg-scripts working you can just make a sample dg-script like this in any 30.trg file: <----> #3000 guard greet~ 0 g 100 ~ say Greetings. ~ $~ <----> and in the the index file: <----> 30.trg $ <----> Then you will be able to boot :) -Henrik -=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=- + Childhood is the land where nobody ever dies. + + Nobody that matters that is. + + -Edna St. Vincent Millay + -=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=-=+=- +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ensure that you have read the CircleMUD Mailing List FAQ: | | http://democracy.queensu.ca/~fletcher/Circle/list-faq.html | +------------------------------------------------------------+
